Stuart Windsor

It is with great sadness that I break the news that Stuart Windsor died yesterday morning. Stuart was recovering from heart surgery he received in July and died as he was leaving the house to preach at a church in Hastings. Please hold Ethel in your prayers in her loss and grief and also her children Elizabeth and Stuart. This news is a great shock and loss but we know that Stuart is in the loving arms of Our Lord in His Kingdom.

Stuart has been an inspiration and encouragement to thousands of Christians across the world through his leadership of CSW and a huge blessing to the churches in Molesey. Stuart and Ethel have been members of St Mary’s for nearly 25 years. Stuart has been an incredibly wise, loyal and positive member of the PCC and we’ve benefited so much from his preaching and service leading on Sundays at St Mary’s over recent years. Stuart was instrumental in my invitation to come to Molesey in 2012; I doubt very much that I would be here without the role he played and he has been such a support and source of wisdom ever since. I, along with so many of us will miss him dearly. Please pray for Ethel and the family.

Stuart’s funeral and thanksgiving services will take place on Thursday 5th October.  The funeral will take place at Kingston Crematorium at 1pm and will consist of a short act of committal.  The main focus will be a Service of Thanksgiving at 2.30pm at St Mary’s Church.  All are welcome.

Warmest wishes and prayers to you all,

Richard Lloyd
