2018 is the 100th anniversary of the WWI armistice and the bell-ringing community has an initiative to recruit 1400 new ringers to remember that number who fell in the war. Our friendly band of ringers are therefore keen to do their bit and acquire some new members. Molesey residents are particularly welcome and no previous experience is necessary, though if there are any lapsed ringers out there they would love to have you back. There are eight easy-going bells, tenor 10cwt, ground-floor ring.
Practice is every Tuesday from 7.45-9.15pm, with Sunday service ringing at 8.30am. Tower captain Jane Marsters would love to hear from anybody interested in learning this traditional art, having some gentle exercise, mental challenges and fun.
