Safeguarding at St Mary’s

Gloria Golding is our new Safeguarding Representative. She will be working in the church office on Monday mornings (9.30-11.30) from 29 April to get Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) paperwork processed. If you have DBS forms that need validating, then please make an appointment to see her there or at her home address in Walton. Youth ministry

We hope to set up a St Mary’s Youth Group with fellowship, fun and Bible teaching for 12s-18s in the autumn. Please do speak to Richard Lloyd if you would like to be involved or know of young people who might like to attend. St Mary’s already supports Kids Zone which is a children’s outreach group on Tuesday evenings for 8-12 year olds and oversees New Shoots which is also an outreach for young people between the ages of 8-16…

Little Moles

From next week, Little Moles will be introducing some Christian songs and a Bible story as part of the programme for the mums and toddlers who attend.

Church Council Meeting

The first Church Council meeting of the newly formed St Mary’s East Molesey Charitable Trust took place on Monday 15th April. Under the Bishop’s Mission Order that has enabled the new ministry at St Mary’s to begin, responsibility for ministry is overseen by this Church Council. Stuart Windsor is National Director of Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) and has had a varied career including serving in the RAF, British Intelligence and as an Assemblies of God pastor. He has travelled widely in his role with CSW, seeking out and helping members of the persecuted church throughout the world where his faith in God has brought him through many challenging and dangerous situations.
