We had a great time this morning at our first St Mary’s Cafe and ‘The Ark’ soft play session! There was a lovely atmosphere, plenty of space for children to play, amazing coffee and plenty of cake and snacks! Come along and check it out! Wednesday and Thursday mornings 9am to 11.30am. Our Autumn mid-week Connect Groups have been launched. Last Sunday, a number of the Connect Groups were introduced by leaders and they all offer great opportunities to grow in faith, get to know others and reach out into the community. 13 groups are launching this term including 8 new ones and although they all differ in focus and structure, they all help build our vision: Love Jesus, love others, serve the world. St Mary’s will be holding a “Wild West” Holiday Club for children aged 4-11 from 30th August to 1st September 2016. The club will be held in St Mary’s Church and will run each day from 9.30am to 12.00pm. To register your interest please complete online form here.
For all Dad’s with pre-school age children – come and have some fun at ‘Dads Day Out’ this Saturday. The children will have plenty of space to play and the Dads can have some breakfast and discuss the outcome of the Referendum……or the football! Just turn up! All are very welcome. This Sunday we are so pleased to welcome Shaneen Clarke as our guest speaker at our services. Shaneen will be continuing our ‘Build Your Kingdom Here’ sermon series with a talk entitled ‘Healing’. Shaneen is a renowned speaker author and evangelist who started her career out of IBOLA Bible College in London.
