Prayer and Reflection | Week 3

Prayer and Reflection | Week 3

Miranda leads us in Week 3 of our prayer and reflection which will continue all the way to Christmas. This week’s passages:-

“Please, Lord, hear my prayer and give me the understanding that comes from your word.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:169‬ ‭CEVDCI‬‬

“My life is speeding by, without a hope of happiness. Sometimes I try to be cheerful and to stop complaining,” ‭‭Job‬ ‭9:25, 27‬ ‭CEVDCI‬‬

“I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth. God won’t let your foot slip. Your protector won’t fall asleep on the job.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121:1-3‬ ‭CEB‬‬

“I often think of the heavens your hands have made, and of the moon and stars you put in place. Then I ask, “Why do you care about us humans? Why are you concerned for us weaklings?” You made us a little lower than you yourself, and you have crowned us with glory and honour.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8:3-5‬ ‭CEVDCI‬‬

“He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, because power is made perfect in weakness.” So I’ll gladly spend my time bragging about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power can rest on me. Therefore, I’m all right with weaknesses, insults, disasters, harassments, and stressful situations for the sake of Christ, because when I’m weak, then I’m strong.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9-10‬ ‭CEB‬‬

“This is God, our God, forever and always! He is the one who will lead us even to the very end.”” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭48:14‬ ‭CEB‬‬

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬
