We want to be people who discern the times,
build God’s Kingdom here,
disciple others and be willing to do
what He asks us to do.
Practices
Jesus did things while on Earth and we want to learn and do these too. These are called Spiritual Practices or Disciplines.
For example Prayer, Silence and Solitude, Fasting, Sabbath, Hospitality.
We want to learn as a community during our small groups and sermons what these look like and how we can put them into practice in order that we become more like Jesus.
Our Culture
We want to build disciples willing to share discernment, vision, and pursue God's mission together.
We want to raise up lay-leaders and give power away.
We want to have everyone represented at the table. Inclusive decision-making.
We want to be adaptable and have a healthy approach to uncertainty.
We want to be a people of Grace, sharing and holding each other up. Intimate Friends,
We want to be an All In kind of church, all finding what we are called to do and do the Jesus Stuff together.
We want to collaborate and partner with others outside of our church for fresh, innovative ideas and a way to build relationships and share the Good news of Jesus.
We want to be people who are not made for just Sundays.
We want to constantly ask God where to prune to stay alive and fruitful.
We want to constantly look at where God is working, seeking His Kingdom here in Molesey.
We want to be creative as we serve a Creative God
We want to form a Community of close Friends who do life and mission together, sharing in each other’s burdens and celebrations.
