Sunday Services

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Latest Update

We regret to say that, in the light of the Government announcement on 16 March, that there will be no public gatherings at St Mary’s Church.  Therefore, Sunday services, Little Moles, Cafe, Alpha, CBS, along with children’s and youth events will be cancelled until further notice.

Whilst we are not physically gathering together in church, the ministry at St Mary’s is very much open and we want to keep you up-to-date with what’s happening.

All are welcome at St Mary’s!

When operating normally we have two Sunday morning services each week, you can find out more about them below. If you are new to St Mary’s or thinking of coming along for the first time then you are very welcome. You can read more about what to expect here.

For full details of what’s happening on a Sunday check our Calendar .

9am: Holy Communion

A welcoming traditional service of Holy Communion with hymns and songs as well as short talk. All those who know and love the Lord Jesus are welcome to receive communion and we love the opportunity to pray a prayer of blessing on others.

10am: Breakfast

At 10am, between the two services, we serve breakfast with fresh coffee and pastries. A great time to meet with friends or get to know new people.

10.30am: Informal Service

An informal service of contemporary worship led by the band, with wide provision for children and families. Children join us at the beginning of the service for worship and then go out to various groups. There are four children’s and young people’s groups available with Creche for under 4s, Infants for 4s to Year 2, Juniors for Year 3 to Year 5 and Youth for Years 6 and above.

We have an All Age service 3/4 times a year, where the children stay in the service and the content connects with children and adults alike.
